(Correspondent: Zou Jun'e) On the afternoon of March 23, Zhang Lidong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Second Company, and Gao Zhizhong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Yunneng Environmental Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yunneng Environment"), led delegations to the university for research and discussion. Zhang Yanduo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the university, attended the meeting and delivered a welcome speech. Zhang Zongliang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the university's School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, presided over the symposium. 

Zhang Yanduo, on behalf of the university, extended a warm welcome to the delegations from China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Second Company and Yunneng Environment, and introduced the university's basic information. He noted that Yunneng Environment's business direction, investment areas, and industrial resources are highly aligned with the research focus of the university's environmental discipline, offering broad prospects for cooperation. He expressed hope that the exchange would serve as an opportunity to precisely match each other's needs, carry out practical collaboration in scientific research, technology transfer, talent cultivation, and platform co-construction, and jointly explore new paths for university-enterprise collaborative innovation, contributing to the national "dual carbon" strategy and ecological civilization construction.

He stated that the research achievements of Wuhan Institute of Technology in the environmental field are highly compatible with the company's business development needs, and expressed anticipation for leveraging both advantages to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism, promote deep integration of industry, academia, and research, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

Yu Junxia, Dean of the School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, introduced the school's development history, discipline offerings, faculty strength, research achievements, and social services.

During the discussion session, participants from both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on specific cooperation areas, technical needs, and collaboration models.

Relevant responsible personnel from China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Second Company and Yunneng Environment accompanied the visit. Representatives from the university's Party and Administration Office, Science and Technology Development Institute, Infrastructure and Maintenance Department, Admissions and Employment Office, and the leadership team of the School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering attended the symposium.
